History

In the turn of the year 1990-1991 SiipiWeikot went to the Unites States for a studying trip. The first sauce shipment arrived in Finland the 1st of July 1991. Ever since, the Hot Wings-sauce has been streamed over the Atlantic with an accelerating pace.

Siipiweikot restaurant was opened 19th of August 1993. Ever since the restaurant was opened, SiipiWeikot have been working in close collaboration with Saarioinen Ltd.

The Hot Wings tradition began in Buffalo back in 1964. In the United States the hot wings are still known as ”Buffalo Wings”. The legendary Anchor Bar, which is still working, was the first place to serve ”Buffalo Wings”.

SiipiWeikot is the first restaurant in Finland and in Europe that has only concentrated on Hot Wings.
